Mt. Rainier Anniversary Portraits

Nick and Latasha are from Florida, which made this adventure session extra special. Not only was it their first time seeing Mount Rainier, but it was also their first time visiting the Pacific Northwest! They planned the trip for their fourth anniversary, and, as a present, Nick organized setting up their shoot with me (cue the awww’s).

They were so excited when we reached Paradise at Mount Rainier. It was a gorgeous and clear day — the mountain was really showing off and they just happened to arrive at the peak of wildflower season!

With a short walk to a nearby waterfall, the views kept getting better and better. We took photos along the river and trails, as well as the most picturesque steps. Throughout the shoot, we were surrounded by seemingly endless meadows of wildflowers.

After much laughter — Nick told me that’s how he won Latasha’s heart — and many photos later, we started our walk back to the parking lot and saw two bucks and one bear! What crazy luck!

Congrats on four years of marriage, Nick and Latasha!
