Pacific Northwest Old-Growth Forest Marriage Proposal
Nicolas proposed to Mariko surrounded by trees up to 1,000 years old without another person in sight. It was their very first trip to Washington, and the proposal was planned in just a week, sight unseen. Nicolas had emphasized wanting a private location somewhere lush and green, maybe even with a waterfall, and this old-growth forest in Olympic National Park delivered.

Lake Crescent Elopement
Devon and Chris chose to elope in Washington because it’s always been a dream of Devon’s to visit. Photos of the Pacific Northwest have always caught her eye, and eloping was the perfect reason to finally visit. With so much romanticizing of this location, I was a bit timid to ask her what she thought of it, but I was so happy when she said it all exceeded her expectations!

Mount Rainier Forest Elopement
Have you ever hiked with someone who has so much joy they can’t help but skip, jump, and twirl up the path? That’s what hiking with Janette is like. As the rest of us walked, Joseph looked on admiringly, explaining that this is how she always hikes.

Mt. Rainier Anniversary Portraits
Nick and Latasha are from Florida, which made this adventure session extra special. Not only was it their first time seeing Mount Rainier, but it was also their first time visiting the Pacific Northwest! They planned the trip for their fourth anniversary, and, as a present, Nick organized setting up their shoot with me (cue the awww’s).
