Unbelievable Pacific Northwest Elopement
Recent trends — less and less people on Pacific Northwest’s hiking trails — has not gone unnoticed. In fact, there are two beings who knew exactly what to make of these new “sheltering in place” rules they had just begun to hear about.
Bigfoot knew this was the opportunity of a lifetime — to elope with his beloved Sasquatch. They reached out to me about photographing their adventure elopement last week, and we quickly had plans in the works. Just days after they asked, I was photographing their nuptials in the beautiful forests of the Olympic National Park*.
As soon as I arrived at their home and cave-dwelling, I could tell how deeply in love with each other they are. Bigfoot was so caring, and Sasquatch was so excited about all of their plans for the day. They spent the day laughing, running through fields of wildflowers, and we ended it with the most amazing sunset at Hurricane Ridge.
They’re currently contemplating where they should honeymoon (taking full advantage of this pandemic) but have already decided to take me along with them to capture more of their precious memories! I’m so honored to have been trusted to photograph their elopement and can’t wait to see where they choose to travel next!
