When I was a bride searching for venues, I found it to be the most frustrating thing. We wanted to have a water view, and finding that within our price range was challenging. Since then, I've entered the wedding industry as a photographer and learned about so many more venue options that I never knew of as a bride! I'm going to save you the trouble I had and compile a list of outdoorsy, unique, and hard to find venues with water views.

Although Samantha and Gabe’s wedding (above) was held in a church, their portraits were taken at the Links at Moses Pointe (with their permission, as they don’t normally host weddings). Remember that even if you don’t have a venue with a water view, it’s possible to use nearby locations for portraits.

Intimate weddings

If you’re planning on hosting a more intimate wedding or elopement, consider using nature as your venue. Washington has three stunning national parks — and they make for the best wedding venues!
