The Barn on Wild Rose Prairie Spokane Wedding

Writing this blog post was especially intimidating, partially because I love the images so much and partially because the bride, Shae, is my younger sister. It’s always an honor to be chosen to document a wedding day, but documenting my own family is a special kind of treat.

Shae and Jordan chose The Barn at Wild Rose Prairie in Spokane, as their venue, and as their photographer, I loved this choice! The options for photos there are endless.

We chose to do their first look in an open field, and Shae even surprised Jordan with a journal full of their memories afterward. Afterward, we had a great time taking photos of the bridal party!

Shae and Jordan’s ceremony was beautiful, and many tears were shed, mostly by Shae — she’s always been the sensitive one of the family!

Everyone was excited for Veraci Pizza at the reception, and after a few emotional first dances, Shae, Jordan and I snuck away for a few portraits at sunset. These are some of my favorite photos from the day!

When we came back to the reception, the bridal party livened up the dance floor with what has become to be known as “the Jordan heads”. They were originally made for Shae’s bachelorette party, but when they showed up at the reception, they were the life of the party!

Like all good things, the party came to an end too quickly. Shae and Jordan made their grand exit under string lights and bubbles, but not before adding a dramatic dip and kiss!

Congratulations again, Shae and Jordan!
