Braden and Halley’s wedding took place on the last beautiful fall day in October. Their wedding was extra special for me because Braden is my younger brother, and the baby of the family. He and Halley have been dating since high school; for nearly seven years!
Halley was going for a fall vintage rustic vibe and nailed it. Pumpkins and candles were accented with burgundy flowers throughout the Mighty Tieton, and the string lights across the reception were the perfect finishing touch.
They had the sweetest first look and we had a blast wandering through the town of Tieton for their portraits. Besides when Braden was caught playing Super Smash Bros in a backroom with the groomsmen, the most “like them” moment of the day was when I noticed their long-time friend and honorable third wheel of the relationship, Jordan, pulling up a chair to the bride and groom table to resume his position at their side. Jordan let them be for the rest of the reception, not intruding on the cake cutting or first dances, but did help to make an excellent toast.
Finally, the sparkler exit! It was beautiful, and just as Braden and Halley hopped into their car to make a getaway, Jordan popped up in the backseat! Someone in the crowd shouted, “Jordan’s in the car!”. Howls of laughter later, and with Jordan retreating from the car, the night finally ended.
